Justice about Organic of O'SUM
Organic farming techniques are designated
by "organic", O'SUM thinks actually it has to be designated by
"agro-organic."
The compound word "ago-organic"
is formed from the words "agriculture" and "organic." It
means do not use any chemical fertilizers or agricultural pesticides to grow
crops by organic agricultural technique and make good use of cosmetics, soap,
and clothes, livestock products.
To be recognized as organic agricultural
products, the crops should be grown with following the guideline which is
defined in each country. In Korea, National Agricultural Products Quality
Management Service certify for organic crops, and these crops have to be grown
without using chemical fertilizers or pesticides, also they are not allowed to
bring into the country from the outsides.
But, there are different certified marks in
countries and customers might be confused about it, because the companies use
the marks too much to show their certification commercially.
When processing materials in organic
agricultural technique by following the guideline of certificate authorities,
the product could be named as "organic product." Most of guidelines
are reported "eco-friendly & eco-humanly" things on it,
especially how much organic materials are contained in the product to be
certificated as organic product is the important point.
The most problem of organic processed
products is do not process by following the guideline of certificate authority,
and only use a little of organic material to sell with a word
"organic" for exaggerated advertisement.
Company has to provide the service for
customers without any exaggerated ads and higher price the organic products. We
reflect this purpose to sell the products cheaper even we got the international
organic certificated mark.
O'SUM has been concerned about how to
provide the safety better products in cheap price to customers.
